A subsidiary from U.S.-based Celanese Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding for synthetic fuel ethanol development with PetroChina Company Limited.
Under this arrangement between the oil giant and Celanese Far East Limited, the two companies will collaborate to jointly develop synthetic fuel ethanol opportunities in the People's Republic of China utilizing Celanese's proprietary TCX ethanol process technology.
Financial terms of the potential deal were not released.
Celanese says it partners with customers to solve their most critical needs while making a positive impact on its communities and the world.
