American PC maker Dell has sued five companies, including HannStar Display from Taiwan, for jointly manipulating the prices of LCD products.
Dell filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, stating that the five companies, including Sharp, Hitachi, Toshiba, Seiko Epson from Japan and HannStar Display from Taiwan, were involved in LCD price fixing from January 1996 and have been over-charging for their LCD panels.
So far, the five companies concerned have not given any comment on the lawsuit.
