Despite the global economic slowdown, Luxembourg-based logistics company Logwin has opened a new operation in Zhangjiagang in southeast China.
The newly established company, Logwin Air + Ocean China Ltd., Zhangjiagang, is led by Thomas Wu. Logwin will use its new customer office to further develop existing logistics projects and expand its service for international customers.
The city has some 900,000 inhabitants and lies approximately 200 kilometers east of Nanjing in the south-eastern province of Jiangsu. It is home to many companies in the electronics, chemicals and textile industries.
Besides its office in Nanjing, Logwin there also operates locations in Shanghai, Suzhou and Wuxi. In total, Logwin is present at over 20 locations in China and has been operating on the Chinese market for over 35 years, having opened its first Asian location in Hong Kong in 1972.
